Festival Of Sails

Flyboarding Stars Down Under!

Visitors to the 2016 Festival of Sails get set to be astounded when a team of international Flyboard Skiers makes its Australian performance debut on Geelong’s waterfront during the Shoreside Festival.

The team of four Flyboarders from China are visiting the country for the first time to wow festival audiences with their awe-inspiring skills using pump-powered water skis.

Stars Down Under Water Ski and Stunt Shows promoter Robert Dance says the Flyboarders are amazing to watch and more impressive than anything he has seen locally. “Flyboarding is the fastest growing water sport in Australia but these guys are doing it better than anyone!” “I’ve been in watersports all my life and I was gob-smacked when I saw them perform in China. They just blow everything else out of the water – literally!”

Festival goers will have the opportunity to see the Flyboard Skiers perform twice daily as part of the hour long water ski stunt show put on by the Stars Down Under Water Ski and Stunt Show team.

As well as twice daily shows from Saturday through to Tuesday, the team will perform an additional show on Monday evening in the lead-up to the Australia Day eve fireworks display.
