38 South Racing

A chat with the Skipper.

MC31, Geelong Festival, 2015Festival of Sails: What is your best memory/achievement sailing on this boat?

38 South Racing: Charging downwind with the A2 up in 25 knots and sitting on 19-20 knots of boat speed on the MC31 is one of the best rides you can have on Port Phillip Bay with your clothes on.

FOS: What do you love most about your boat?

38 South Racing: Small number of crew needed to race and going fast down hill.

FOS: How many times have you sailed in FOS?

38 South Racing: Lost count? Maybe 20?

FOS: Why have you chosen to compete in FOS 2017?

38 South Racing: It is the Super 11 National Championships and it is always good racing in Geelong in January.

FOS: Do you have your crew confirmed? If so, mention them here!

38 South Racing: Not 100% confirmed yet.

We wish 38 South Racing and Skipper Rohan Veal the best of luck! 38 South Racing will compete in the Super 11 series.
