The Festival of Sails is an annual event held in January on the Geelong waterfront. It is the largest free community festival in Geelong and attracts more than 100,000 to the event, incorporating the Australia Day activities for Geelong.
In 2018, the Festival of Sails will be held over three days, from Friday 26th January (Australia Day) to Sunday 28th January.
The Australia Day weekend will be a hive of activity in Geelong, with the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race also being held over the 27th and 28th January in 2018.
As well as providing free entertainment, the Festival of Sails hosts market stalls on Steampacket Gardens and Eastern Beach, where traders can display, sell and promote their products.
The Festival of Sails and Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race event organisers have been working closely together to ensure the best visitor experience and to ensure that our vendors are in front of as many people as possible.
Applications for food vendors for both events will be managed by the Festival of Sails event managers.
Applications for the 2018 event are expected to open in mid-October 2017. To be the first to know when applications are open, join our stall holders database HERE.
