Welcome to Geelong for this year’s Festival of Sails. If it’s your first time chasing victory or soaking up the waterfront energy, welcome! For all the returning sailors and spectators, welcome back to one of the best weekends on Victoria’s summer calendar.

The Victorian Government is proud to support this world-class three-day festival through our Regional Events Fund, which helps attract thousands of visitors to events right across the state.

The Festival of Sails continues to attract sailors, support staff and volunteers to Geelong – as well as visitors from out of town who help boost local businesses. It means that in addition to being an incredible spectacle, this weekend provides a huge economic opportunity.

Best of luck to all those taking part in any of the races across this year’s regatta. Enjoy the 2026 Festival of Sails and everything on offer across the region.
