Every year, more than 200 volunteers help bring Australia’s largest keelboat regatta to life. From supporting racing on the water to welcoming competitors and visitors on shore, our volunteers are the beating heart of the Festival.
In 2027, Festival of Sails will feature four action-packed days at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, including the Australian Yachting Championship, Australian Sports Boat Association National Championship, S80 Victorian Championship and the iconic Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race.
Whether you’ve volunteered before or are joining us for the first time, there’s a place for you. No sailing experience is required for many roles, with training and support provided where needed.
