Volunteer at Festival of Sails 2027

Become part of the beating heart of Festival of Sails.

Every year, more than 200 volunteers help bring Australia’s largest keelboat regatta to life. From welcoming competitors and visitors to supporting the Festival on and off the water, our volunteers are at the heart of the action.

No sailing experience? No problem. With a wide range of roles available both on water and on land, training and support provided, everyone is welcome to get involved.

Enjoy front-row access to the Festival, daily catering, an official Festival shirt and a dedicated Volunteer Hub inside the Victorian Sailing Centre, complete with air-conditioned spaces and modern amenities to relax and recharge between shifts.
