Competitor Ticketing

Festival of Sails competitors don’t need to purchase a separate event ticket. Instead, all registered skippers and crew will receive a Festival access wristband, giving them entry to the Festival precinct and access to a range of exclusive competitor benefits.

Collecting Your Festival Access Wristbands

Festival access wristbands can be collected from Regatta Services when you first arrive at the Festival from the Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race.

When registering your boat, skippers will be be asked to confirm their crew numbers. The corresponding number of environmentally friendly wristbands will then be included in the skipper pack for collection on arrival.

It is the skipper’s responsibility to ensure all crew are registered and to distribute wristbands to each crew member.

Following competitor feedback, Festival access wristbands return for 2027, providing a simple and sustainable way to enjoy the Festival both on and off the water.

What Your Wristband Includes

Your Festival access wristband provides:

  • Entry to the Festival precinct, with no additional ticket required.
  • Access to the Festival site after 6.00 pm each day, when public ticketing is in place.
