Free Berthing In January For Interstate Boats

For interstate competitors making the journey to Geelong, Royal Geelong Yacht Club is offering free berthing from 1 to 31 January 2027 for boats entered in Festival of Sails 2027.

Whether you’re travelling north after the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, planning an extended summer sailing trip or arriving early to prepare for the regatta, it’s an opportunity to spend more time in Geelong and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

Festival of Sails 2027, presented by TLC Healthcare, will bring together sailors from across Australia for five major sailing championships and the iconic Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race, with racing from 22 to 26 January.

Beyond the racing, competitors can enjoy the atmosphere of Royal Geelong Yacht Club, while the Festival’s waterfront celebrations on 23 and 24 January will feature free live music, pop-up bars, local food and family entertainment.
