Join us for an unforgettable long weekend of racing and revelry at the 2026 Festival of Sails, now even bigger and better with more racing, more entertainment, and more fun.
Australia’s biggest celebration of sailing and the sea, this year’s regatta has something for every sailor. With an inclusive program catering to both rated and non-rated boats, the racing will be close, competitive, and pure sailing joy.
The festivities kick off with the Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race, Australia’s oldest sporting event, now in its 183rd year. Favourites the Mornington to Geelong Passage Race and International Cadet Sprint Series return to bring more talent of all ages from across the bay.
This year we’re also excited to host the 2026 Multihull Australian Championships, running across five action-packed days.
And it all happens off the back of the Australasian Etchells Summer Championship in Geelong just a few weeks earlier.
Once you’ve crossed the finish line, the Geelong Waterfront comes alive with three days of live music, entertainment, delicious food, and vibrant gatherings across the Regatta Village, Clubhouse Stage, the new Victorian Sailing Centre and East Village.
